Not only did these handsome members of the Morrinsville Fire Brigade feature in our brand video alongside our livestock buyer for the area Joel Alderson, they have also been the recipients of over $3,000.00 in donations since 2015. These donations have assisted the Morrinsville Fire Brigade with their operational expenses including having to self fund their water tanker for a period of time.
AFFCO introduced the option to our Bobby Calf Suppliers to nominate their local Fire brigade or local rural school in 2015 and since then we have seen the level of donations rise to this vital part of our rural communities.
These pupils of Gordonton School, located in the Waikato, also featured on our brand video and had an amazing time doing it, there are definitely some movie stars in the making. Over the past five years Gordonton School has received over $4,000.00 in donations from the AFFCO Cash for Schools Bobby Calf scheme. For this school with a roll of 260, donations like this help with providing the students with learning resources that would otherwise not be able to be purchased.
