At AFFCO, our team is dedicated to identifying new markets and opportunities to enable is to maximise head to tail utilisation. We process a range of high quality by-products tailored to specific markets and contracts. These include leather, hides, protein meals, blood serums, meat, bone meal and dried blood for poultry feed, tallow for soaps and cosmetics, lamb casings for European sausages and slipe wools for carpet.
AFFCO’s bovine blood serums are globablly renowned and recognised for their purity and disease-free status and are an increasingly important by-product. Our blood serums are used in the manufacture of therapeutics, vaccines and diagnostics, as well as international research projects.
AFFCO has two tanning locations in New Zealand – one in Napier and the other in Wiri, Auckland. These sites produce the finest premium leathers which are used in New Zealand and internationally to produce high quality products for the fashion, automobile, upholstery and aviation industries.
AFFCO Pork is only sold domestically and produced in specialist facilities. Our pork is raised on New Zealand farms, adhering to strict international standards for quality, animal health and welfare.
